About Yaxley Music4You (previously Stilton in Tune)

All concerts take place on a Sunday afternoon commencing at 2pm (doors open 1.15pm). The current admission price as and since March 2019 is £10.00 which includes interval refreshments (tea, coffee, and biscuits) and is payable at the door.

As from January 2026, events run under the 'Music4You' banner and our new programme of Showtime events is listed below and is full of top line artistes. 

We are delighted to announce a CHANGE OF VENUE as from 5 JULY 2026. 

The NEW VENUE ADDRESS is 'The Royal British Legion, 210 Broadway, YAXLEY, Peterborough. PE7 3NR.' It's just south of Peterborough junction 16 off the A1, which is the same exit and sign as the Stilton venue. We can now boast ample free parking (no grass!) A licensed bar and a professional stage along with other things which we found to be lacking when we took over running the events at the previous venue.. 

Music4You, otherwise known as Chris and Joanne Powell, are delighted to provide LIVE MUSIC at Yaxley. A warm welcome awaits to everyone by ourselves and our team, Mike, Steve, Val, Stuart and Liz! 

An afteroon of the finest music provided by the finest musicians and entertainers, Music for all tastes from James Last to Abba, Andre Reu to Songs from the Shows! An example of the varied music genres that you can expect. Great venue, free parking and a professional presentation. A place to meet like minded friends, old and new!

Music4You are involved with other concerts including Scunthorpe Music4You, Sleaford Music4All and Gainsborough Keyboard Showtime along with organising weekend Breaks away. We present our very popular 'Christmas With Music4You' at the wonderful 4 star Drayton Manor Hotel, Tamworth from 13 November 2026 to 16 November 2026 and then our annual weekend to The 4 star Mecure Fairfield Manor Hotel near York follows on 5-7 February 2027, and then  a weekend at the 4 star Savoy Hotel in Skegness. The latter consists of ballroom/sequence dancing in the afternoon and concerts/shows in the evening and is co hosted with Matthew Bason. Chris and Joanne are also directors at The Musical Museum in Brentford, London. The chairman Steve Barrett-White and his wife Val are a part of our Music4You team! Ex BBC, they are in charge of the camera/video presentation on concert days.

Check out the Musical Museum's website for live music events there including a series of Variety Shows in July featuring both The Mighty Wurlitzer, Roland, Hammond, Korg, accordion and vocals with Chris & Jo and Matthew Bason. November sees the start of The Christmas Shows, once again featuring Chris & Joanne. Some of the dates for both are already sold out so dont leave it too late to book! Each event includes a Tour of the Museum, the concert, an afternoon tea and a glass of Prosecco! Car parking is available at the museum and it's also easily accessible via public transport. Many of you will know that we both enjoy performing live concerts and playing for Ballroom/Sequence dancing featuring the Roland Atellier for Chris and then for duet shows we add Joannes Hammond SK! and Ketron SD3!
